VOCABULARY

POLYGONS

STAR POLYGONS: It is a particular case with a star shape created out of liking together no consecutive vertice of a regulat polygon.
INSCIBE POLYGONS: They are a polygons place inside circles so all the vertex of a polygons.
CIRCUMSCRIBED POLYGONS: They are polygons sorrounding a circle, being its sides tangent to the circle inside.
CONVEX POLYGONS: When any line pass for two points of the shape.
NON-CONVEX POLYGONS: When one line pass throught the polygons buts it´s cut any parts.

NAME OF POLYGONS
EQUILATERAL: All edges or sides are same lenght.
REGULAR: All theirs vertices, angles and sides equal.
IRREGULER: Show different angles and linght for their sides.

4 quadrileteral                    10 decagon
5 pentagon                          11 hendecagon
6 hexagon                           12 dodecagon
7 heptagon                        100 hectagon
8 octegon                        1000 chiliagon (kilagono)

POLYGONS PARTS
SIDE OR EDGE: each of line segment that from a polygons.
VERTEX (vertices): The point in which two sides meet.
DIAGONAL: Segment line that connects non consecutive vertice.
PERIMETER: The parth around a polygon the addition of all its sides.
CENTER: It is a point equidistant from all vertice.
APOTHEMA: (apotema): Line segment from the center to the midpoint of one of its sides.

THE TRIANGLE
TRIANGLE: It is a flat figure with three sides and three angles.
   - SIDES:
                 -EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE: Sides and vertices are the same.
                 -SOSCELES TRIANGLE: 2 equals sides and angles.
                 -SCALEN TRIANGLE: 3 differend sides.
   -ANGLE:
                 -RIGHT TRIANGLE: Which has one right angle.
                 -OBTUSE TRIANGLE: Have a one angle is more than 90º.
                 -ACUTE TRIANGLE: 3 vertices are acute.
